Cookie Notice
verifuse — Last updated: July 2026
PUBLIC_LEGAL_IDENTITY in constants/site-config.ts and obtain legal review before public launch.1. General Information
The public verifuse website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. This notice explains which storage technologies are used, on which legal basis, and how you can change your choice at any time.
For the full text of how we process personal data please refer to our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies and Local Storage We Use
2.1 Theme preference (essential, localStorage): Stores your light- or dark-theme preference under the key theme so the visual choice survives navigation. Legal basis: § 25(2) Nr. 2 TDDDG / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
2.2 Analytics choice (essential, localStorage): Stores whether you accepted or declined Vercel Web Analytics under the key verifuse-cookie-consent so the banner does not reappear on every page. Legal basis: § 25(2) Nr. 2 TDDDG / Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
2.3 Session cookies: The public landing does not require authentication. Session cookies are limited to what Vercel needs to deliver the static site and protect against abuse.
2.4 Persistent cookies: None are set by verifuse without your consent.
3. Cookieless Web Analytics (Vercel)
Vercel Web Analytics records aggregated page-view information without tracking cookies. It may process the page path, referrer, approximate location, device family, operating system and browser information. Visitor counting uses a privacy-preserving hash that resets daily and is not intended to track a person across websites or days.
Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Allow analytics” in the cookie banner on the public landing. You can decline it by choosing “Essential only”. That choice is stored locally under verifuse-cookie-consent so the banner does not reappear on every page.
Analytics is not loaded for waitlist confirmation or unsubscribe routes, so the personal token in those URLs is excluded from page-view collection.
4. Waitlist
Submitting the waitlist form does not require a marketing cookie. The server processes the submitted fields, technical request data for abuse prevention and a correlation identifier. Double opt-in is completed through an emailed token.
5. External Services
Cal.com is opened only after you activate the respective external link. That provider may use cookies under its own policies. verifuse does not embed its tracking scripts on the public landing by default and does not pass your data to it automatically.
6. How to Change Your Choice
You can revisit your analytics decision at any time using the button below. Browser settings can also be used to delete stored values. The theme preference is stored by your browser and can be cleared from the browser settings.
7. Future Changes
Advertising, profiling or other non-essential tracking technologies will not be enabled without updating this notice, the processor register and — where legally required — implementing prior consent controls (TTDSG / ePrivacy / GDPR).
